Since the Fort Hood military post is nearby, many Texans want to celebrate this special occasion to show their patriotism. Fourth on the Brazos: A 250th Anniversary Sky Spectacular

Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Touchdown Alley at McLane Stadium, 1001 S. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd., Waco, TX, USA

Admission Fee: Free

Event Features: Celebrate America’s 250th at the City of Waco’s annual Fourth on the Brazos. Enjoy live entertainment, family fun, food trucks, the H-E-B Fireworks Extravaganza, the TFNB Liberty Lights Laser Show, and a live performance by legendary Motown group The Jacksons. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, shade umbrellas, and coolers. Glass containers are not allowed, and a clear bag policy will be in effect.

Red, White & Blue Music Festival

Belton’s 4th of July Celebration Parade in Downtown Belton

Time: Patriotic Program begins at 8:00 AM; parade begins at 9:00 AM

Location: Downtown Belton Historic District, Belton, TX 76513

Event Features: Celebrate Independence Day at Belton’s long-running 4th of July Celebration Parade, a community tradition held for more than 100 years. The patriotic program begins at 8:00 AM, followed by the parade at 9:00 AM through Downtown Belton. Parade entries typically include military groups, elected officials, veterans, horse groups, classic cars, floats, fire trucks, high school bands, and other community participants. After the parade, guests can continue the celebration at Liberty Park with the Festival on Nolan Creek and the Rev, White & Blue Car Show.
