Fall is officially here. Amy’s Attic Self Storage loves being a part of the Central Texas community. This Fall, treat your family to any one of the community events listed below and enjoy the festivities!

Below is a list of community events to enjoy over the next few months. If you feel there is a worthy Fall celebration event missing from this list below, please contact us using the web form on to submit your Fall or Halloween event or activity. Amy’s Attic Fall Festival

Date: October 19
Time: 11am – 3pm
Location: 800 Prospector Trail, Harker Heights, TX
Admission Fee: One small cash donation or a donation of one item on the event list
Event Features: Support the charity Foster Love Bell County and have fun while you’re at it! Foster Love Bell County is dedicated to meeting the needs of foster children in Bell County and beyond. You would be directly responsible for providing them with toys, childcare and healthcare supplies, clothing, and most importantly, love.

Halloween Haunt

Date: October 12
Time: 2pm – 9pm
Location: Knead Peace, 10465 FM 2410, Belton, TX
Admission Fee: $10 each, $7 Military
Event Features: For a more classic Halloween experience, look no further than Belton’s Halloween Haunt, a festive night of BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) carving, live performances, music, games, vendors, food, and more! If you feel like taking a break, enjoy Halloween films playing all day in their very own outdoor theater area!

Fall Fest

Date: October 12
Time: 9am – 2pm
Location: 171 FM 3219, Harker Heights, TX
Admission Fee: Free!
Event Features: Join the Vintage Church for its annual Fall Fest! Your whole family can take part in carnival-style games, enjoy delicious treats from a variety of food trucks, explore the pumpkin patch, spectate over the fiery competition at the chili cook-off, and more.

3rd Annual Foundation Fest

Date: October 19
Time: 10am – 2pm
Location: Foundation United Methodist Church, 10751 W Adams Ave, Temple, TX
Admission Fee: Free, but certain events and products require tickets purchased on-site
Event Features: Foundation United Methodist Church invites families to explore their 3rd Annual Foundation Fest, offering hay rides, story time, music, games, a silent auction, and more classic Texas food than any single congregation can handle!

Haunted Hayride

Date: October 26
Time: Family Friendly Rides: 3pm – 5pm; Haunted Hayrides: 6pm – 10pm
Location: 7915 South General Bruce Drive, Temple, TX
Admission Fee: Family Friendly Rides: $5; Haunted Hayrides: $7 (advance), $9 (at gate)
Event Features: Among the most popular fall events in Temple, the Haunted Hayride has become a staple of the local Halloween spirit. This year, in addition to the Haunted Hayride is a more family-friendly ride for those with small children, who may feel the normal ride is too scary. Be sure to get your tickets when they become available for sale on October 1st!

Scottish Gathering & Highland Games

Date: November 8 – 10
Time: Gates open at 8, festivities start at 9; view website for full schedule
Location: 423 South Main Street, Salado, TX
Admission Fee: Weekend Pass: $15 Adult, $6 Child (6-12), Free for children below 5!
Event Features: Bagpipes and drums! Highland dancers! Scottish athletics! Men in kilts! The 58th Scottish Gathering & Highland Games of Salado has it all. Enjoy the traditional music, food, and colorful clan tents, and encourage your children to appreciate history in a whole new way.
