Central Texas is the place to be for the best 4th of July celebrations. With the 4th of July just around the corner, it is officially time to start making your plans for the big day. From swimming parties to downtown parades, it has everything you need to have fun this Independence Day! Since the Fort Hood military post is nearby, many Texans want to celebrate this special occasion to show their patriotism. Belton Fourth of July Celebration Parade

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Location:  1 1/2 mile parade route running south on Main Street (FM317) from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor to the Bell County Courthouse, then east on Central Avenue, and north on Birdwell to the Belton Police Memorial.

Admission Fee: Free

Event Features: Enjoy the 100-year Belton tradition of the fun-filled parade with friends and family as we celebrate freedom!

Belton 4th of July Celebration

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: Yettie Polk Park, 101 S Davis St., Belton

Admission Fee: Free

Event Features: Belton, Texas is the place to celebrate the 4th of July. The 2023 Celebration will include a patriotic program, a parade, a festival on Nolan Creek, a hotdog eating contest, and followed by a backyard party with fireworks!

2023 Summer Fun Adult Night

Date: Saturday, July 1, 2023

Time: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Location: Summer Fun Water Park | 1410 Waco Road, Belton

Admission Fee: $30

Event Features: • 21+ Strictly Enforced. • All events are BYOB. • No glass containers. • No styrofoam coolers of any kind. • Beer / or wine coolers only. • Max 1 Six-pack per person only. • Public drunkenness will not be tolerated. • No outside food. • Police on duty. • Absolutely No re-entry. Once you leave the park you will not be allowed back in. • Dress code strictly enforced swimsuit attire mandatory

4th of July Backyard Party at Schoepf’s

Time: 6 PM – 11 PM

Event Features: Come listen to some live music before the firework show! This free music and firework event will be a memorable way to end the night.

Fourth on the Brazos

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Time: Gates open at 6 PM

Location: 1001 S. MLK Blvd., Waco.

Admission Fee: Free

Event Features: This annual event features a ton of events to enjoy with friends and family such as the corn dog eating contest, live music, fireworks, patriotic ceremony, games, and much more!

Patriotic Puppy: Family Paint!

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Event Features: This unique event will give you and your family step-by-step instructions on how to paint a cute patriotic puppy! They encourage you to BYOB (wine, beer, or favorite beverage) so you can enjoy the painting process from start to finish.

7th Annual Spokes and Sparklers Independence Day Ride 

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: Tonkawa Falls | 8542 5th Street, Crawford, TX 76638

Admission Fee: Free

Event Features: Just a short 20-minute drive outside of Waco is the 7th Annual freedom bike ride! All levels of cyclists are welcome to ride for 12 mi, 26-mile, or 48-mile routes. There will be pizza and beer following the event, but they encourage you to BYOB! If you are up for a dip in waterfalls after your cycle, make sure to bring a swimsuit!

H-E-B Fourth of July Family Fun Fest and Fireworks Show

Date: Tuesday, July 4, 2023

Time: Show begins at 9:30 PM

Event Features: The annual July 4th celebration includes one of the best fireworks shows in Central Texas.
